"Canadian actress Michèle Duquet was cast in the leading role as the teacher, Ms. Appleton and she was absolutely brilliant! Ms. Duquet has a natural comedic flair that is neither gimmicky nor is it campy, but comes across as authentic. The film’s opening alternates between seeing a boy’s shoes unwillingly being dragged down a hallway, presumably by his parents, and towards the room where his teacher (Ms. Duquet) is readying herself for the monumental meeting with the little “monster” and his mother (Lucy Filippone) and father (Tony De Santis)."

Monday November 3rd 2008, 9:30pm - Michèle’s episode of Rent-A-Goalie “Internetstopper” airs on Showcase.

August 2008 TFO, one of Canada’s most prominent French TV stations, launch their new fall line-up with Michèle as one of their new voice-over announcers.

June 2008 Michèle shoots the short film ‘Parent Teacher Night’, a hilarious satire about the elementary school parent-teacher interview, in the starring role of Ms. Appleton; written by, & also starring, Lucy Filippone. Directed by Genie award nominee Stephen Roscoe.

March 2008 - Michèle shoots an episode of Rent-A-Goalie, guest starring as Jenny Benny, a Parisian woman who hooks up with Cake played by the show’s star & co-creator Christopher Bolton.

April 7, 2007 - KAW makes its world premiere. Watch for its DVD release later this year.

October 2006 - E.T Canada comes out with their list of the top 25 scariest Canadian stars of 2006 and Michèle is voted # 23 for her work in KAW.

October 2006 - Michèle guest stars in 72 Hours portraying the infamous cold blooded murderer Sherylle Dell.

August 2006 - E.T. Canada airs their interview of Michèle shot on the set of KAW.

July 2006 - Michèle becomes the French voice for Toyota’s new Hybrid cars TV ad campaign.

April 2006 - Beautiful People has its Canadian network premiere on the Wnetwork.
